I’ve loved to draw and paint as long as I can remember. I can remember as far back as first grade when  I was doing drawings for my friends. I’ve been doing portraits for quite a few years. Over the years I’ve worked with all sorts of mediums such as pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, pastel, oil, acrylics, guache, markers, watercolors, colored pencil and just about anything you can come up with. I’ve even sculpted and made molds. I like to draw and paint all subjects but my favorite is people, especially children. I love the human form. I believe it’s one of God’s most beautiful creations. It comes in so many shapes, forms and sizes and each one is very special.

I’m currently focusing on working in watercolors and also pencil. I also do illustration work in black and white and also color. This work is generally done in ink or ink and marker for reproduction purposes.

I’m married and living with my family in Plainfield, IL. I spend a lot of time with my grandson who also lives with us. He’s one of my favorite subjects for my drawings and paintings. I do primarily commissioned work right now. I also work on other paintings that are inspired through my faith in Jesus Christ. My goal is to increase the time I spend on my art, both the commissioned work and the inspirational work. I hope to one day see my inspirational work being used by the Lord to bless and inspire others.
